What we check
From public information only. We don't log in anywhere and we don't fill in your forms.
- Can a driver on the shoulder call you? Is your number at the top of the page, and does it dial when tapped?
- How fast is your site on a phone? Most towing searches happen on a phone, at the roadside. Google's target is 2.5 seconds for the main content to show.
- Does Google get your business details from your site? Name, address, phone and hours in the page code, matching what's on the page.
- Is anything measured? Analytics, call tracking, and whether ad calls are counted at all.
- Do your page titles say what you do and where? "Home" tells nobody you tow in Red Deer.
- Is there a way to request a tow or a quote? And does the page it points to exist?
- Housekeeping. One address for your site (www or not), a working sitemap, nothing left over from the last web designer.
With your OK we can also add what a script can't read: your Google rating and review count against the local leader, and your directory listings. That's the full Rating Kit, and it's part of the baseline when you join.

Who it's for
Independent towing and roadside companies in Canada and the US, except the Edmonton metro, Parkland County and Leduc, where Matt's own tow company works. We'll still send you the score if you're there; we just won't take you on as a client, and we'll say so.
The small print
Your score is a snapshot from public information on the day we check. Speed readings on phones vary from run to run, so we quote them as "about X seconds". Some things, like Google reviews and rankings, need a hand read and aren't in the free score unless we add them. Scores change as websites change. If the report is more than a couple of weeks old, ask for a re-run before you act on it.
