How we work: Score, Baseline, Plan, Fix, Grow, Prove

Most tow owners we talk to have paid for marketing before and got reports instead of calls. So the way we work is built around two things: fix what loses calls first, and show you a number every month that you can check yourself.

The path

  1. Score (free, before anything else). Send your website address. Within 2 business days you get a one-page score from public information only, with the 3 fixes we'd make first. You can do them yourself. No cost, no obligation.
  2. Baseline (weeks 1 to 2). If you join, we score again with access to your accounts. It's usually lower than the free one, because it sees what public data can't, like form alerts that never arrive. We measure calls, forms, reviews and ad costs as they are, and agree in writing what counts as a lead. Anything losing calls today gets fixed first, with your OK.
  3. Plan (weeks 2 to 3). A 90-day plan with targets you sign off. One page, in plain words.
  4. Fix the foundation (weeks 3 to 4). Your Google Business Profile, your tracking, and your review texts. The texts are written with you and tested on your phone before they go live.
  5. Grow (every month after). Two or more finished improvements a month, listed with links so you can see them. Google posts with your own photos. Replies to new reviews. Ads where they pay, with wasted searches blocked.
  6. Prove (the first week of every month). A one-page scorecard: calls, reviews, ad spend and cost per call, judged on jobs, not clicks. Your score is re-checked every quarter. If something isn't working, the scorecard says so, and so do we.

What a normal month looks like

  • You get a short list of drafts to approve: Google posts, review replies, ad copy. A few minutes, once a week at most.
  • We ship the improvements and list them with links.
  • Your customers get the same "how did we do?" text after every completed job. Unhappy ones reach your manager before they reach Google.
  • The scorecard lands in your inbox in the first week of the next month. Pro and Specialized clients also get a quarterly planning call with Matt.

Our rules

  • One tow company per market. We won't work for your competitor across town, and we'll tell you if our own tow company takes work near you.
  • You own everything. Your Google profile, ad account, analytics, domain, website content and customer data stay in your name. We use manager access, never shared passwords.
  • Reviews by Google's rules. Every customer is asked the same way. No gating, no rewards, no fake or staff reviews.
  • No texts to strangers. Review requests go only to people who hired you, each with your name and an opt-out. No marketing blasts.
  • No claims we can't back up. Not in your ads and not on this site. If you want to advertise a response time, we'll ask you for the data first.
  • Every live change is backed up, tested on a copy where we can, and can be undone.
  • No guarantees of rankings, calls or revenue. We promise the work in your plan and an honest scorecard.

How we use software, and where a person comes in

We use software to do the repetitive parts: sending review requests after each job, counting calls, pulling the scorecard together, and first drafts of posts and replies. A person checks everything before it goes out, and you approve anything public in your name. Your customers only ever get texts written in your voice and approved by you.

What we need from you

  • Access within 5 business days, through our own named logins: Google Business Profile, Google Ads, Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console, and your website or web host.
  • Your dispatch software, so review requests go out after completed jobs.
  • One approver who answers drafts within 5 business days, and a manager's number for alerts about unhappy customers.
  • A few real photos a month: trucks, crew, jobs.
  • Your OK that the customers we text hired you.
  • Proof behind any claim you want in your ads.
  • For the ads: your budget, paid to Google from your own account, and a monthly export of completed jobs with call times (no customer names).

If you leave

A first term of 3 or 6 months, then month to month with 30 days' notice. Within 10 business days of leaving you get your access back, your data exported and our notes on what we set up, and we delete our copies.
